Why use this downloader

The original file

You get the file the platform already stores. Nothing is re-encoded; YouTube and Instagram HD streams are only joined with their audio.

No watermark

Instagram and YouTube files carry none. On TikTok, where a clean rendition exists, that is the one you get; the button says so when it doesn't.

Private to the team

It sits behind our company login. No ads, no tracking, no accounts to create.

Works on your phone

Share a video from the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube app, copy the link, and paste it here.

An H.264 TikTok copy that plays everywhere, and 720p for YouTube.

Audio

The sound on its own (MP3 on TikTok, M4A on Instagram and YouTube).

Cover image

Fair use limits

A gentle rate limit keeps it quick for everyone.

FAQ

Which links work?

Public video links from three platforms. TikTok: tiktok.com/@user/video/…, the www. and m. versions, and vm. or vt. short links. Instagram: posts, reels and IGTV (instagram.com/p/…, /reel/…, /reels/…, /tv/…). YouTube: youtube.com/watch?v=…, youtu.be/…, /shorts/…, m.youtube.com and music.youtube.com (playlists are ignored, only the video is used). Photo posts, stories, lives and other sites are not supported.

Why did a video fail?

It may be private, deleted or blocked in our region; Instagram may want a login, or a YouTube video may be age-restricted, members-only or longer than 30 minutes. The message under the box says which. If it says busy, try again in a minute.

Is the video really watermark-free?

Instagram and YouTube files have no watermark. On TikTok usually; if TikTok only offers a watermarked file, the button says so.

Why does a YouTube download take a moment to start?

YouTube keeps HD video and sound apart, so our server joins them into one MP4 before sending it. Short clips are ready in seconds, a 30-minute 1080p video can take a minute or two.

Where does TikTok's Original (max quality) file come from?

TikTok's own web page only offers up to 1080p. The Original option is the uploaded file (often 1440×2560), fetched through the free TikWM service: we send it only the TikTok link. It may not always be available; when TikWM is slow or down, or the upload was 1080p or lower anyway, the option is left out and you get the best file TikTok serves.

What is the difference between H.265 and H.264?

H.265 is smaller and sharper, but some older devices and editors can't play it. H.264 plays almost anywhere.
