Two-pass encoding sized to the limit, checked afterwards and redone if it overshoots.
Squeeze a video under WhatsApp's 16 MB or Telegram's and email's 25 MB, convert between MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV, pull out the audio, or turn a moment into a GIF. One file or a whole batch.

Drop one file or up to ten, or paste a TikTok, Instagram or YouTube link.
Compress to a size or quality, change format, resolution or frame rate, or make a GIF.
Preview each result with its new size, or grab a ZIP of the batch. Files are deleted after an hour.

MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV in and out, with a lossless remux when only the container changes.
Pull the soundtrack out as MP3 or M4A for voice-overs and podcasts.
ffmpeg palettegen per clip for crisp colours, or animated WebP for smaller files.
Up to ten videos with the same settings, downloaded one by one or as a ZIP.
Everything runs with ffmpeg on our own Mac. No cloud APIs, no ads, no tracking.
Squish aims about 4% under the limit so the file still fits once the container is added. A video that's already an MP4 under the limit is returned as it is.
Every second of video needs some data: 16 MB is fine for a few minutes, not for fifteen. Trim it first (Shortcut at reframe.bored.sg cuts clips), pick a bigger target, or compress by quality instead.
GIF works everywhere but is big and limited to 256 colours. Animated WebP looks better and is much smaller; it works in browsers, WhatsApp and Telegram, but not in every app.
MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM and MKV files up to 500 MB and 15 minutes each, and public TikTok, Instagram and YouTube links. Anything else is refused.
It's processed on our own Mac and deleted, with the results, an hour later. Nothing is sent to any outside service. Jobs run one or two at a time; yours shows its place in the queue.
