  3. 3

    Stamp a batch

Stays in-house

Covers are drawn in your browser; frames and watermarks run on our own Mac. No cloud APIs, no tracking.

FAQ

How are the suggested frames chosen?

Thumbly looks at up to 120 frames spread across the video and scores each for sharpness (less motion blur), exposure and contrast. Frames where OpenCV finds a face get a boost, bigger faces more. The top eight, spaced apart so they aren't near-duplicates, are grabbed at full resolution.

Is my cover uploaded anywhere?

No. The cover maker draws everything in your browser, so background images and logos you add there never leave your computer. Only videos (for frame grabbing) and watermark batches are sent to our own Mac.

Which files work?

Videos: MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM and MKV up to 500 MB and 15 minutes, or a public TikTok, Instagram or YouTube link. Images: JPG, PNG and WebP. Anything else is refused.

Will the watermark look the same on every file?

Size and margin are a percentage of each file's width and shorter side, so the mark scales with the picture. Videos are re-encoded to H.264 MP4 with the original sound.

What happens to my files?

They're processed on our own Mac and deleted, with the results, an hour later. Nothing is sent to any outside service.
